Two people have died in a road accident at Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district. Two people are seriously injured, who are undergoing treatment at Nalagarh Hospital. On receiving the news of the accident, the Nalagarh police station reached the spot and took the dead bodies into custody. The injured were taken to the hospital by passersby.

Confirming the accident, DSP Nalagarh Vivek said that a truck fell down from the Mahadev bridge on Nalagarh-Swaraghat National Highway No. 105. The truck was full of beer bottles. The truck driver and a youth died on the spot in the accident. The highway was also blocked due to the accident.

The truck was going from Baddi to Kullu. The deceased were identified as driver Arun Kumar son of Jayalal village, Baral Mandi and Golu son from Sohan Lal village. While the injured were residents of Vishal village Barmana Bilaspur and Ravi’s son Amar Singh village Bari Mandi. Ravi had taken a lift from the truck driver to go to Mandi.

As a relief, the administration gave an amount of 10-10 thousand to the dead and 5-5 to the injured. Further action is being taken by registering a case under the police post Dabhota.
