Alert about Corona: Corona patients suddenly increased; 9 infected together after a long time, one died

The Health Department is on alert regarding the new variant of Corona, Omicron. Meanwhile, after two months, 9 corona patients were again found in the city and one died. Amidst the threat of Omicron, the health department is increasing the testing and for this reason 9 patients have appeared simultaneously. However, all patients are infected with the old variant.

The Health Department is also worried that the new virus may not enter Punjab and the old patients also start increasing. Therefore, testing has been increased by the Health Department and has also demanded from the Deputy Commissioner that he should be allowed to increase the sampling of children in schools.

So far 87680 cases, 2111 deaths

According to the Health Department, 87680 patients have been found corona positive in the samples taken in Ludhiana so far. Out of these, the number of outside patients has been found to be 11744. So far, 2111 people have died after being corona positive and out of these, 1061 patients were related to outside districts. The number of patients has come down for some time, but the health department says that the danger is still not over because till now there are 47 percent people who have not been vaccinated. So people should still take precautions.
