Asaram, admitted in Jodhpur AIIMS for about a week, is showing good improvement in his health. He has got rid of post covid problems to a great extent. Along with this, his urine infection has also been controlled. Feeling better, Asaram will be discharged in two days and sent back to jail.

AIIMS sources say that Asaram’s health is continuously improving. He himself is feeling much better now. Asaram, who was initially reluctant to get treatment, is now giving full cooperation to the doctors. The doctors treating him say that due to the patient’s cooperation, it was easy for him to get treatment. They say that all the parts of Asaram’s body are functioning normally. Now he does not have any particular disease. Urine infection had increased significantly earlier, but after continuous treatment, it has been controlled. At the same time, his oxygen level has also become normal. If all goes well, he will be discharged within two days. His supporters are constantly reaching to meet Asaram admitted in AIIMS. In turn, selected people are going inside and coming to meet him. Those who meet him keep swarming throughout the day.

Asaram was found corona infected in the first week of last month. After this, he was first admitted to Mahatma Gandhi and later to AIIMS and got treatment. During this, he filed a bail petition in the High Court for the treatment of his illness with Ayurveda method. On the orders of the High Court, the Medical Board of AIIMS presented his medical report. Based on this his bail application was rejected. Asaram has challenged this order of the High Court in the Supreme Court. There also yesterday the hearing was postponed for a few days.

It is noteworthy that in August 2013, there was an allegation of sexual harassment of a minor student of his Gurukul at an ashram in Jodhpur. After this Asaram was arrested. Since then he is lodged in Jodhpur jail. In April 2018, he was sentenced to remain in jail till his death. Asaram has tried to get bail more than 15 times so far. Eminent lawyers of the country have advocated on his behalf, but every time his petition has been rejected.
