The truck collided with the pilot vehicle running in the convoy of Himachal Governor.

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar’s convoy was hit by a speeding truck in Himachal Pradesh’s Parwanoo. In this accident, including the pilot car of the police running in the convoy of the governor, the car in which the governor and his wife were sitting was also damaged. After the collision of the truck, the pilot car collided with the governor’s car ahead. Fortunately, the governor and his wife were not injured.

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar was coming from Chandigarh towards Shimla. His wife Anagha Arlekar was also with him. The accident happened on National Highway-5 near Nuclear at around 11:00 pm on Tuesday night. As the convoy reached Kamli Bridge, the truck coming from behind from Shimla rammed the pilot vehicle behind their vehicle. The pilot car collided with the governor’s car. The governor’s car collided with the pilot car driving behind. The governor’s vehicle was badly damaged in the accident.

Police arrested the truck driver
The police arrested the truck driver Sonu Kumar after the accident. He is a resident of Gharota village of Chamba. He was coming towards Shimla with a truck (HP 11A-3511). Not many people in the convoy were injured in this accident.
