Local people raised slogans
On Wednesday night, a speeding vehicle hit the cattle near Chrome Hotel on Meerut-Delhi road. In which 2 cows died on the spot. While one cow was seriously injured. After the incident, the accused driver along with his accomplice fled leaving the car.
Left the car after the accident and fled
The cows were crossing the road in Partapur area. Then a speeding red colored Suzuki car going from Meerut to Delhi hit the cow. The speed of the car was so fast that after the collision, the cows fell on the road. And the car hit the divider.
Local people have told that by the time other people reached around Chrome Hotel there, the driver along with his companion fled on foot leaving the car.
Local people created ruckus
When the local people saw the cows covered in blood on the middle road, there was a jam like situation on the road. After which the crowd started shouting slogans. Partapur and Brahmapuri police also reached the spot and investigated the incident. The Partapur Inspector, who reached the spot, somehow handled the crowd.
