The number of Omicron patients in the country is also increasing rapidly. At the same time, 935 people have been cured with the new variant, while 1750 people are still under treatment. The highest number of cases of the new variant in the country at 797 have been registered in Maharashtra. Delhi (464) is at number two, Rajasthan (236) at number three, Kerala (234) and Karnataka (225) are at number five with cases at number four.

1. Maharashtra
On Wednesday, 26,538 people were found infected here. 5331 people were cured and 8 people died. So far 67.57 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. 2. West Bengal

4. Kerala

5. Tamil Nadu
On Wednesday, 4862 people were found infected here. 688 people were cured and 9 patients died. So far, more than 27.60 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. 5. Haryana
