According to the new guidelines of BMC, all foreign travelers coming to Mumbai will have to compulsorily undergo rapid RT-PCR test at the airport. BMC’s Assistant Municipal Commissioner Kiran Dighavkar gave information about this by tweeting. After the RT-PCR test, if the report comes negative, then passengers can leave, but they will have to stay in home quarantine for 7 days. Those whose report will come positive will be admitted to Seven Hills Hospital.

Condition of 5 most affected states

1. Maharashtra
On Tuesday, 18,466 people were found infected here. 4558 people were cured and 20 people died. So far 67.30 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 65.18 lakh people have been cured, while 1.41 lakh people died. 66,308 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

2. West Bengal
Here on Tuesday, 9073 people were found infected. 3768 people were cured and 16 people died. So far, 16.64 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 16.19 lakh people have been cured, while 19,810 people died. 25,475 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

3. Delhi
On Tuesday, 5481 people were found infected here. 1575 people have recovered and 3 deaths have been recorded. So far, 14.63 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 14.23 lakh people have been cured, while 25,113 people died. 14,889 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

4. Kerala
On Tuesday, 3640 people were found infected here. 2363 people were cured and 30 people died. So far 52.58 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 51.89 lakh people have been cured, while 48,637 people died. 20,180 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

5. Tamil Nadu
On Tuesday, 2731 people were found infected here. 674 people were cured and 9 patients died. So far, more than 27.55 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 27.06 lakh people have been cured, while 36,805 people died. 12,412 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
