A 16-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in Goh of Aurangabad district. The body of Askant Kumar was found by the police hanging from the fan. Police took out the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital Aurangabad for postmortem.

All his family members had gone to attend the wedding ceremony a few days back after locking their house. Askant Kumar, son of Baiju Sao, who was doing a scrap business adjacent to the house, entered Surendra Paswan’s house on Tuesday morning after seeing the deserted.

When there was no sound of any kind from inside the house, people informed the police. As soon as the information was received, SHO Shamim Ahmed reached the spot with the force and broke the lock of the locked house and entered inside. Surprised to see the room’s lock broken. In this regard, SHO Shamim Ahmed said that swinging from a fan is a symbol of suicide.
