Later the meeting place was changed from Hotel Ashok to Circuit House.

A meeting of independent MLAs was proposed at Hotel Ashok at 5 pm. Congress MLA Rajendra Gudha reached there just before the meeting started at Hotel Ashok. When independent MLAs objected to this, Gudha said that they had come to attend the meeting at the behest of Sanyam Lodha. On seeing Gudha, 5 MLAs left the hotel. Later, Rajendra Gudha said in a conversation with the media, ‘No one has any problem with me, what was the conversation between them. I have no idea. I was called by MLA Sanyam Lodha for talks. We have talked to me, none of the MLAs has a problem.

Today’s incident exposed differences within G-19
An exercise was made to form G-19 by joining 13 independents supporting Gehlot and 6 Congress MLAs coming from BSP. Independent Sanyam Lodha was engaged in its exercise. It was decided to hold a joint meeting of G-19 first. But, the Independent MLA and the MLA coming from BSP did not agree to hold a joint meeting. Because of this, only independent meetings were held. The manner in which Rajendra Gudha arrived before the meeting has exposed differences in G-19.

G-19 may be together in appearance, but in becoming a minister, all the competitors
As a show from outside, 13 independents and MLAs coming from BSP to Congress should try to appear together. But, the biggest competition is the claim of becoming a minister. In the kind of political situation, all 19 MLAs are openly claiming that they have saved the government, so their number should come in becoming ministers. 9 seats are vacant in the cabinet and 19 are the contenders. That’s why there is stiff competition. This is the main reason behind the developments that happened before the meeting of the independents.
