The corporation commissioner has approved a file of Rs 67 lakh for the sewerage problem. On Friday, ward number five was heard after the BJP councilor and his supporters occupied the municipal commissioner’s office for seven hours. Along with this, it has been decided to deploy policemen at the water supply watershed. Not only this, valve welding of the water house will be done so that no one can tamper with the water supply. Not only this, two JCB machines have been ordered for cleaning the Gonchi drain for drainage. After this the protesters returned home around 8 pm.

Corporation Commissioner Dr. Garima Mittal said that due to the rainy season, the councilor of Ward-5 Lalita Yadav and her supporters met on Friday to discuss the problem of water drainage and sewerage in Ward-5 of the Municipal Corporation. The Corporation Commissioner sent Additional Municipal Commissioner Vaishali Sharma and Executive Engineer OP Kardam twice on the spot to inspect Ward-5. Both the officials said in their report that both the motors were found running for the drainage of Maniram disposal and 60 feet disposal. But the councilor’s demand was that a third motor should be installed. He told that the third motor cannot be installed, because doing so can burst the pipeline at any time. Ajay Singh, Akshay Gera, Pawan Joshi, Rana Pratap, Praveen Sharma, Sunita Pal, Angrez Ram and many others were present with the councillor.

Approval to get these works done The Municipal Commissioner has given approval to XEN to give two JCBs to clean the Gaonchi drain. Apart from this, a file of 67 lakh for sewerage operation and maintenance has been approved. Police duty has already been imposed in three shifts on Jain Boosting and Sector-25. An application will be sent to the Commissioner of Police for deployment of police for Ward No-7. The Municipal Commissioner said that legal action will be taken against those mischievous elements who obstruct government work on boosting. Orders were also given to get the valves balding on both the boosting. On this, Xen OP Kadarm said that this work will take 72 hours. Exen has been ordered to distribute the tender copy of the sewerage line under AMRUT scheme in Jeevan Nagar-Part-2 to the public. The sewerage line being put in the child welfare area will have to be reported to XEN every week. Along with this, approval was also given for the extension of the old sewerage line. But the contractor has not yet given consent for the work.
