Himachal Board of School Education will now conduct paper for class V and VIII children as well as for Class III children. On behalf of the state government, the school education board has been entrusted with the responsibility of getting the paper done. Apart from this, the 10th and 12th board exams will be held twice a year. The examination will be organized by the board first in the month of November and then in March. On Saturday, Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education President Dr. Suresh Kumar Soni met the Governor of the state, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and informed him about this. The Governor of the State was informed about the new National Education Policy by the Chairman of the Board of School Education. The governor was told how the examination would be conducted. How will they be evaluated? Apart from this, various other types of information were also given. On this occasion, the Governor also sought details of primary government and private, middle government and private and senior secondary government and private schools in Himachal Pradesh from the Chairman of the Board of School Education. Along with this, it also demanded that how many students and girls are studying in the schools, this information will be provided to the Governor by the Board of Education in 3 days. The rationale behind asking for this information is that the Governor wants to see the condition of government schools in Himachal, how many girl students are studying in the school. Whether the number of children in government schools is decreasing or increasing or whether girls are going to school after 10th standard or not. They will get all such information through this detail. After which efforts will be made to further improve the quality of education. On this occasion, Dr. Suresh Kumar Soni, President of the Board of School Education, along with Rajesh Kaundal, Principal of Sloh School in Una district, and Chandramani, senior official of the School Education Board were also present.

In the new national education policy, the schedule of examinations will be like this
In the new National Education Policy, the paper of children of class III, V and VIII will be held only once in a year. Which will be done by the school education board. This paper will be of 50 marks, while 50 marks will be given to the children by the school. In which teachers will take a separate test, marks will be given on the basis of various activities conducted by the schools. In this, 25 marks out of 50 will be for academic activities, while the remaining 25 marks will be involved in other activities. In order to make the examination easier for the children, such changes have been made in the new National Education Policy, so that the paper does not burden the children.

School Education Board President Dr. Suresh Soni told that the class 9th and 12th board exams will be held twice a year. In this, the paper board will take 80 marks. The remaining 20 marks will be based on assessment. In which these numbers will be given to the children participating in different types of activities. Apart from this, the children of these classes will also get to know about the history related to their district. He will know which person in his district has contributed to the society and made efforts for upliftment. These children will also be given information about the history of the district by visiting the famous ancient places. Various changes have been made in the new education policy to make studies interesting.
