The accused attacked the shopkeeper with a sharp weapon and then looted.
Some robbers have looted and ransacked a cloth shop in Pimpri Chinchwad area, adjoining Pune. This incident of robbery has been captured in the CCTV camera installed on the spot. The special thing is that all the accused are minors and before committing the robbery, they had also tried to extort money from the shopkeeper. For not paying the money, first threatened the owner of the shop with the help of a sharp weapon and then broke it fiercely.
Video made to spread panic in the area
The most special thing about this incident is that the accused had stationed a young man outside to capture the robbery on camera. He made a video of the entire incident and uploaded it on social media, so that the people of the area started giving him a week out of panic. Based on the video, three minors have been taken into custody by the police and they will be produced in the Juvenile Court shortly.
The incident was caught on camera installed inside the shop.
Some other people are suspected to be involved in this robbery.
Senior police inspector Shankar Awtade, who investigated the case, said that we have caught three accused in this case, but the search is on for some other youths involved in this group. The investigation is on whether these accused were doing such acts only to spread panic or they really intended to loot.
