Tenant disappeared with the same

The house which collapsed belongs to a person named Kapoor Chandra Yadav located at Badshahi Naka, Kulibazar. In this, 2 tenants were living together with the family for the last 40 years. Due to a dispute between the landlord and the tenant, the house had reached a dilapidated condition. Shortly after the house collapsed, the tenants left with their belongings. The landlord told that there was a dispute about vacating. After the house collapsed, he himself went away with the goods.

Municipal Corporation has done Khanapurti

AE Yashveer Singh of Municipal Corporation Zone-1 said that notice had already been issued to the dilapidated house. The officials could not tell in which date the notice was issued. On reaching the spot, he asked the landlord to help him demolish the house, but the landlord cleared it. The team of the Municipal Corporation returned after making a mistake. The landlord himself started demolishing the house.

More than 700 houses in Kanpur are dilapidated. The lives of more than 4 thousand people living in these are in danger every day. But the Municipal Corporation abdicates its responsibility by giving notice. Whereas a non-disputed house can also be demolished.
