The target of vaccination of children is to be completed in January.

On the first day of vaccination for children between 15 and 18 years, 1,73,181 have been vaccinated on Monday. In this, the daughter of Bihar’s first vaccine recipient Ritika, a resident of Patna, is also included. In Patna, 7,269 children in the age group of 15 to 18 years have been given the vaccine at 87 centres. Now on Tuesday, the work of vaccination will be done at 194 centers in Patna, in which 122 government and 27 private high schools have been included. Apart from this, 16 middle schools and 29 other sites have been identified.

Two vaccinators at each center

2 Vaccinators and Verifiers have been arranged for vaccination at each session site. Nodal officer has been deputed for its effective monitoring, under which 3 schools have been affiliated. On Tuesday, the vaccination center will be inspected by the senior officials of the district and the work of vaccination will be accelerated. DM has asked to expedite the vaccination of children through video conferencing on Monday itself. DM has instructed to tag the team with the center and reach them on time and complete monitoring and speed up the vaccination.

Vaccination of elders caught pace

Vaccination of elders has also gained momentum. On Monday, along with the vaccination of children, the vaccination of elders has also gone at a fast pace. People have been vaccinated like normal days. On Monday, 4,58,746 people have been vaccinated till 12 pm. So far, a total of 10,07,41,298 people have been vaccinated in Bihar, out of which the number of people who took the first dose is 5,81,13,414. While 4,26,27,884 people have taken the second dose.
