It will be more fun to read. Kamal Kishore made the school building fit for children. Got 3 bighas of land in the name of education department. Apart from this, he did many such works, due to which today the name of the school is famous in the whole state.

Kamal Kishore is a resident of Barathi area of ​​Bilaspur district. His wife Savitri Sharma is also a teacher, she also teaches. But he got a lot of support from his wife. Whenever she felt that there was a problem, she stood by him there. He started his services as Principal at Kalhog in November 2019. When the school arrived, the name of the building was in ruins. The condition was such that there was not even a room for the principal to sit. Gradually, he started changing the picture of the school. Today most of the rooms in the school are tiled.

3 bigha land got done in the name of education department
Revenue records revealed that the land on which the school building is located is in the name of 15 villagers. Due to non-availability of land in the name of the school, the education department was also unable to give money. In such a situation, he interacted with the people and got 3 bighas of land in the name of the school. Earlier he rejuvenated the school through personal efforts. People, including teachers, collected money and gave it. Slowly the work started going on. After demolishing the ruined building, a new building started to be built. By then the land also got in the name of the education department and Rs 7 lakh was also received. Then with this money, tiles were installed in classes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.

When money is less then used old stuff
The paucity of money was coming in the way to improve the school building. But Kamal Kishore was determined in his mind that he had to make the new building better. The idea came to his mind, why not use the old stuff of the school building. Then wood was used, doors and windows were installed. After this, tin sheets of the old building were used for the roof.

The school currently does not have any drawing teachers, while many children are interested in painting. He was running a paint job in the school. Painter was painting in school. Principal Kamal Kishore spoke to the painters and asked if they could teach painting to their children. On this the painters said that they do not know much, but they will teach them as much as they can. The children started painting with him. The painters gave them information and today the children do the painting themselves. Apart from this, various products made by the children themselves are also appreciated by the local people.

Atal Tinkering Lab’s goods worth Rs 12 lakh were gathering dust in Kalhog School for many years. This was not seen from Kamal Kishore. He collected 60 thousand rupees from the staff and villagers and made a room for the lab. During the lockdown, Kamal Kishore and his team taught the children door-to-door. Even now he is teaching 15 children by going to his house. These children live in the very inaccessible areas of Barog and Kalhog.

Received state level teacher award in 2015
Kamal Kishore has also received the State Level Teacher Award in 2015. During that time he was posted as the headmaster of the high school Matar. Kamal Kishore is a resident of Barathi village in Bilaspur. In 1988, he joined the education department as a TGT. Even after becoming the principal, he is teaching mathematics to the students regularly.
