Naveen Thakur, a resident of Sarkaghat in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, will finally reach home. Naveen, working as a security officer in a private company in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, was stranded at Kabul airport for several days. On August 20, he got a ticket on a flight to Denmark. After reaching Denmark, arrangements will be made to transport all the passengers from there to their countries. There are 90 more Indians along with Naveen Thakur on the flight to Denmark.

Naveen’s mother Padma Devi has expressed happiness saying that this is a very happy moment for her. For the last several days, he was worried about whether Naveen will be able to return to India safely or not? She was constantly praying to God that somehow her son would come out of Afghanistan. God listened to his prayer. Naveen was sitting inside Kabul airport for 3 days and was waiting for his turn to board the flight.

Naveen’s mother said that when she spoke with her son on Thursday, she told that a flight has left for London in which 27 Indians have been sent but his number could not be found in it. In such a situation, she was worried that when will her son be able to get a place in the flight? By the way, Naveen had a ticket booked for August 18.

Security officer in Dennis Company in Kabul
Naveen was a security officer in the Dennis company working in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. In such a situation, this Danish company made arrangements for the safe evacuation of all its employees from Afghanistan. In this sequence, Naveen boarded a flight to Denmark on Friday at 7:00 pm Indian time. Now after reaching Denmark, arrangements will be made to send them from there to India.

Naveen Thakur’s mother told that along with her son many people from other states of India have also gone on the flight. These include people from Delhi, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Siliguri and Assam. A youth named Rahul from Himachal is still trapped in Afghanistan.
