Preparing to close schools and educational institutions too

Apart from the night curfew, preparations have been made to close all the educational institutions including all the schools in Chandigarh. A formal order in this regard is awaited. According to sources, educational institutions have also been closed along with night curfew.

Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden and Bird Park have been closed

In view of the increasing number of corona cases in Chandigarh, the administration has already taken strict action. Under this, the Rock Garden and Bird Park have been closed. At the same time, every kind of activity from boating in Sukhna Lake will be completely closed on Sundays. However, there is a relaxation of few hours from Monday to Saturday. Morning and evening walks have been exempted from 5 to 9 in the morning and from 6 to 8 in the evening. However, the Chandigarh Administration has said that if people follow the Kovid precautions, then only this exemption will remain intact.
