Patients will get facility: MLA gave 22.17 lakhs of Kovid grant to civil, will buy X-ray machines

Majura MLA Harsh Sanghvi on Monday donated Rs 22.17 lakh for two new X-ray machines at the Civil Hospital. He told that I have given only the grant received to the MLAs during Corona in the Civil Hospital. Dr. Ketan Nayak, RMO of Civil Hospital said that with this grant, a new digital machine will come in 1 to 2 months. At present there are 4 X-ray machines in the hospital. One or two of these machines are 20 to 25 years old.

Along with the trauma center, the number of X-ray patients is also increasing in the radiology department. In such a situation, getting two new machines will be a relief. At present, it has not been decided whether the new machines will be installed separately or will be replaced in place of the old ones. In the civil hospital, X-rays of 300 to 400 patients are done daily. In such a situation, the report does not come properly in old machines. There is also a new machine in the Kovid building, but it is not being used for common patients.
