He said that there is a great need of infrastructure in B class city and C class city, which is acutely lacking. That is why the government should develop Piku in government hospitals.

Nodal officer Hemkant Sharma said that Mayaganj Hospital has a ten-bed ICU, 6 suction machines, one artillery blood gas machine, 8 neonatal ventilators (two ventilators are available) 25 -25 CPAP and YPAP machines, separate for children in ventilation. A letter has been sent to the government for arranging life saving medicine along with 100 hoses as it seems. It will take at least a month for him to arrive.

How are children getting infected?

Regarding the reason for children getting infected, Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh said that whatever material is coming from outside, children can get infected, so there is a need to avoid outside things. Also, it is more important to protect children from contact with outsiders who come into the house. Dr. Singh said that even in private hospitals, there is no system of ICU for children.
