After 23 days, the movement of vehicles started on Rampur Gaura road on Monday. Apple orchards have heaved a sigh of relief on the restoration of this road. On August 1, the Rampur Gaura road was blocked near Forest Colony due to heavy landslides. About 17 meters long road was destroyed in the grip of landslide. Thousands of people of Dansa, Gaura, Mashnu, Dofda, Kinnu and Gopalpur panchayats of sub-division were facing problems due to road blockade. Public Works Department SDO Chandra Kashmiri said that the Rampur Gaura road has now been restored for large vehicles.
