Second death in the country from Omicron: 73-year-old died in Rajasthan, corona report came negative 7 days ago

A 73-year-old man, who was infected with the new variant Omicron of Corona in Udaipur, Rajasthan, died on Friday. This is probably the second death from this variant in the country. CMHO Dr. Dinesh Kharadi said that the death was due to post-covid pneumonia. The elderly had no travel history. They also turned negative in the investigation on 21 and 22 December. His report on December 25 confirmed the availability of the Omicron variant.

Dr. Dinesh Kharadi said that he had diabetes and hypertension and hypothyroidism. In such a situation, the virus affects the body. Also, if you have a disease like diabetes, then the risk increases significantly. So far 69 patients of Omicron have been found in Rajasthan. Of these, 47 have recovered and 22 are under treatment. Elderly was a compounder in MB Hospital
Udaipur MB Hospital Superintendent Dr. RL Suman told that the elderly were being treated in our own hospital. He was admitted on 15 December. He already had diabetes, hypertension and hypothyroidism. Due to which they were at high-risk. They had the same symptoms, which are usually found in corona infected patients. The deceased had been a compounder in the elderly MB Hospital itself.

52 year old man died in Maharashtra
On Thursday, a 52-year-old man died of Omicron in Maharashtra. He had returned from Nigeria two weeks ago. His Kovid test was also done, but the report was negative. He suffered a heart attack on 28 December. After this he was admitted to Yashwant Rao Chavan Hospital of Municipal Corporation. He died during treatment here.
