IRCTC has started a new offer to increase the number of passengers in Tejas Express. 5 percent cashback is being given to women traveling by Tejas train on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. This facility has started from 17th August and will run till 24th August. To take advantage of this offer, women passengers will have to book tickets and complete the journey.
At present Tejas train is operating four days a week on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. IRCTC said that apart from Raksha Bandhan, such facilities are being considered for upcoming festivals also. At present, the train is running with 70 to 75 percent occupancy in every trip.

Train No. 82901 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Tejas Express runs on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday from Mumbai Central at 15.45 hrs and reaches Ahmedabad at 22.05 hrs the same day. Similarly train number 82902 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Tejas leaves Ahmedabad at 6.40 hrs on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday and reaches Mumbai Central at 13.05 hrs the same day. This train stops at Andheri, Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara and Nadiad stations. This train will also stop at Andheri station till 31 October. This train has AC Chair Car and AC Executive Chair Car Coaches.
Cashback will be sent to the account of passengers
IRCTC West Zone Spokesperson Pinakin Morwala said that on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, a special cashback of 5% on train fare is being given to all women passengers traveling in both Tejas trains till August 24, symbolizing brother-sister love and affection. . Cashback will be available only on trips made during the offer period.
5% cashback will be sent to the same account of the female passenger from which the ticket has been booked. The cashback will also be applicable for women passengers who have already booked tickets for the above travel period before the launch of the offer. For this, women passengers will have to complete the journey after booking the ticket.
