Tree plantation drive was carried out in Shurala Campus and adjoining forest of Shimla Nursing College. A total of 100 saplings were planted by the college students. In this, 30 pine trees, 35 ban trees and 25 hydrangea trees were planted. The chief guest on this occasion was the college principal Dr. Krishna Chauhan started the program by planting a deodar tree. He said that it is not only necessary for every person to plant a tree every day but it is also necessary to take care of it.

So that our environment can be protected. He stressed that college girl students should be involved in plantation and awareness programs which are important factors to encourage citizens to protect the environment by planting trees. Others who planted trees included Shimla Nursing College Eco Club, Faculty and girl students.
