Within 12 days, 50 thousand unemployed youth of the government have applied for recruitment.
The state government has sought applications for the recruitment of 1334 constables in the state. Within just 12 days, 50 thousand unemployed youth of the government have applied for recruitment. However, the last date to apply is till 31 October. It remains to be seen where this figure of applying till the last date will reach. The IT department has prepared the software for online application, in which 50 thousand applications have been received so far.
This process of applications will continue till October 31 and it is believed that by then one and a half to two lakh youth will apply for police recruitment. Right now police recruitment cannot be done due to the code of conduct, but the process of applications is going on.
With the removal of the code of conduct, the screening of applications and further processing will be started. Through this recruitment drive, applicants will be appointed on 1334 posts. According to the HP Police Constable Recruitment 2021 notification released on the official website, the application process for these posts will continue till October 31, 2021. After that the applications will not be accepted.
HP Police Constable Recruitment Selection Process
Applicants will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test. The Physical Efficiency Test will consist of 1500 meters for men and 800 meters for women. During this high jump and board jump will also be conducted. Candidates will also have to appear in a written test, which will be of 80 marks. The exam will be conducted for a duration of one hour. The marks obtained in the written examination, height of the candidates and verification of certificates will be taken into consideration while preparing the final merit list.
These are the conditions of application
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age should be 25 years to apply for Police Constable posts. Candidates who have passed the deposit or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board or institute can apply for these posts. The details filled by the candidates in the application form will be considered final.
