The company has opened the online and dealership bookings at Rs 21,000 and it will go on sale on August 31.
The Tigor EV gets a 26 kWh Li-ion battery pack, which can be replenished in less than 60 minutes in a 50kW fast charger. The company will also install a 15A AC wall box socket at the owner’s place of choice. For home charging, it takes approximately 8.5 hours to charge from 0% to 80% capacity. The battery is covered under an 8-year warranty package. Range, expected around 300 km/charge, will be revealed during the launch.
The asynchronous motor propels Tigor EV to 60 kmph from standstill in 5.7 seconds and is power rated at 55 kW and 170 Nm. The motor is paired with an automatic transmission and two drive modes are on offer: Drive and sport.
The Tigor EV deploys regeneration braking. Its Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor delivers instant torque balancing performance and efficiency.
Tigor EV is a connected car. Supported by iRA, Tigor EV offers more than 30 connected features. In terms of creature comforts, Tigor EV gets auto climate control, auto foldable ORVMs, height-adjustable driver seat, smart key and portable charging cable. Its boot space of 316 litres is expandable up to 375 litres based on the option of removing the spare wheel. The Company will also provide customers a tyre puncture kit.
