NEW DELHI: What may prove to be a game-changer for Tata Motors in the volume end of the business, the company has christened its upcoming compact SUV as HBX.
The concept model of HBX was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The concept wore a rugged appearance, thanks to off-road tyres, heightened ground clearance and roof rails.

The teaser on Twitter depicts only the headlight cluster, which seems to have a resemblance with the Harrier and Safari. The sleek light has a kink as it approaches the far end of the bonnet.

The entry-level segment is ruled by Maruti Suzuki with a bouquet of products including Celerio, S-Presso and Alto. HBX, on debut, will also face a challenge from the Renault Kwid and Mahindra KUV100.
