Police arrested five inter-state miscreants with weapons, who looted Rs 95 lakh in broad daylight on July 14 at Axis Bank branch in Palwal. They were here again in the midst of a crime. The police came to know about this and took action and caught them on Friday. All the accused are residents of Vaishali district of Bihar. Cases of robbery, dacoity and murder are registered against them in many states. They have been produced in the court and taken on police remand for five days. The police will now question them in depth about other cases including recovery of bank robbery money.

SP Deepak Gehlawat said that in the case of robbery of 95 lakhs in Axis Bank, the team of CIA, Cyber Cell and city police station was deployed to nab the miscreants. These teams were engaged in Haryana, UP, Rajasthan and Bihar to nab the miscreants. Meanwhile, on July 30, the CIA got information that five youths were sitting in a black Skoda car with weapons near the Piyush Group Society in the process of committing some crime. They have covered the number of the car with soil. When the CIA team raided the spot, it found the said car parked near an under-construction house near Piyush Group Society. After this, he took action and arrested the five.

According to the SP, when they were interrogated, they turned out to be accused of bank robbery. All the miscreants are residents of Vaishali district of Bihar. Desi pistol and two cartridges from Suraj Kumar alias Sunny, resident of Adalwadi village, Desi Katta and one cartridge from Manish alias Nanki, resident of Panapur village, Mahesh Kumar alias Raunak resident of Valva Kuwari village, Talwar from Saurabh Kumar, resident of Aksarganj village and two cartridges and Degri A sword has also been recovered from Indrajit alias Kundan, a resident of the village. Skoda car has also been recovered from them. The accused told during interrogation that they have carried out many incidents including robbery, dacoity and murder in different states. There are many cases registered against them. The robbers said that on July 14, they had looted 95 lakhs in the Axis Bank branch on the strength of arms. Manish alias Nanki has also been identified among the robbers. It is visible in the CCTV camera leaving the bank with the bag of money.

Similarly, eight cases are registered against Manish alias Nanki in various police stations of Bihar including robbery, murder, attempt to murder, dacoity. This too was out of police custody in all cases. There are three cases of robbery and dacoity registered against Mahesh Kumar alias Raunak in Bihar and West Bengal. This too was out of police custody.
