The CM was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Annexe building of the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court in Aurangabad.

Taking a jibe at former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said on Saturday that in this state (Maharashtra) not only the accused but sometimes the complainants also go missing. Let us inform that Parambir, who has accused former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of extorting Rs 100 crore, is not coming in front of him despite calling several investigating agencies. It is being said for Parambir that he has left the country and gone to Russia or any country in Europe.

The NIA also wants to interrogate him in the Antilia explosives seizure case. Apart from this, Chandiwal Commission and CBI have summoned for questioning against him. Thane Police has also issued a lookout notice against him. The CM was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Annexe building of the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court in Aurangabad.

Justice is not a one man job: CM Uddhav Thackeray
Justice DY Chandrachud also attended the same event and he also referred to some strange cases and said that the accused of a pending trial in Sangola taluka is absconding since 1958 and till now no trace of him has been traced. Now only God knows whether he is there now or not.

Taking this matter further, CM Uddhav Thackeray said, “Here, after registering a complaint, the complainant goes missing. In such a situation, attention is really needed. Now that the complaint has been registered, then there will be an inquiry, investigation is going on, but there must be some limit or extent. Doing justice is not a one man job, it is a collective job. Many people are part of this judicial process team.

If even one pillar is weak, the roof of democracy will be weak.
Thackeray further said that democracy is a roof of responsibility with the shoulders of the legislature, executive, judiciary and media as the pillars of responsibility. Pressure on the judiciary means pressure on democracy. If any one pillar is weak then the roof of democracy will be weak. Then there will be no pillars and the pillars will have no meaning after the roof collapses.

Measures to stop crime should be intensified
Thackeray said that it is necessary to intensify the measures to stop crime. But in my eyes the crime should end. Courts should also be empty, there should be no dispute.
