An apple-laden pickup fell into the Tans river on Fediz Gumma Marg, about 150 km from the city. There were three people in it, out of which the body of one has been recovered, while two people are still missing. According to the information, at around 11 pm last Sunday night, a pickup (HP 08A 3697) was carrying apples from Tikri to Saharanpur. Suddenly falling into a gorge about 500 meters deep near Gumma, it got absorbed in the river.
During this, two persons were washed away in the strong current of water, while the body of one has been recovered. Who has been identified as Balak Ram Putra Phim Das. While other two persons Dixit son Dilaram village Kofar and Dilaram son Jatu Ram village Kofar are still missing. It is being told that the body of the child Ram was found lying on the sand on the bank of the river.
