Accident: Two 150 ton cranes will come today to remove 143 tonne refinery parts from ONGC Bridge

A container carrying 143 tonnes of refinery parts overturned at ONGC Bridge in Ichhapore last week. Two 150 ton cranes have been procured by Hazira’s company from outside to clear the ODC (Over Dimension Over Weight Cargo) of 143 tonnes. Both the cranes will reach by evening on Monday.

The parts will be removed by the company along with the Highway Authority Officer and the Traffic Police. A plan will be made so that there is no damage to the bridge. The work of removing the parts will start late in the evening on Monday. During this time, traffic under the bridge will be closed.
