Parsudih police sent Balbir Singh, a resident of Golmuri Namda Basti, accused of firing in the procession at Kundu Bhawan, to jail on Wednesday. A case was filed against Balbir on the statement of Parsudih Thanedar Rajendra Kumar Das. The police have seized his licensed revolver.

On the statement of the Thanedar, a case has been registered against Balbir Singh, Lavkush Singh, Amit Singh, Akhilesh Singh, Rameshwar Singh, Samar Kundu and others living near Parsudih Kali temple. All are accused of violating the lockdown and firing in the crowd with a licensed weapon.
