The state government’s home department has constituted a 7-member SIT team to probe the allegations of corruption against Singh. This team will be headed by a DCP level officer. Builder Radheshyam Aggarwal at Marine Drive police station in Mumbai has accused Parambir and other 5 police officers of extorting 15 crores by falsely making a false case of MCOCA.
The SIT team will also investigate the case of MCOCA registered against Agarwal at Juhu police station. There was a case of MCOCA accusing Agarwal of having an affair with Chhota Shakeel during Parambir’s commission.

Prior to this investigation, five police officers believed to be close to Parambir Singh in Mumbai have also been transferred. This includes 2 DCPs, 2 ACPs and a lady inspector. Aggarwal has also accused him of extortion along with Parambir Singh.

Builder’s allegation on Parambir
Radheshyam Aggarwal told that a fake case was registered against him and about 15 crores was demanded from him. It was said that after this money, legal action would not be taken against them. Allegations were also made that all this was going on since the year 2016. The builder had named former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh and others in his complaint. In this context, two partners of the builder Sunil Jain and Sanjay Purnima have been arrested in the case.
