Govindpur police arrested Vikas Singh, a resident of Birsanagar Zone 6, absconding accused in the land dispute and sent him to jail on Thursday. Narayan Shekhar alias Karthik, a resident of Jojobera, had lodged an FIR against the accused in the police station. Since then Vikas Singh was absconding.
Police has already sent three accused in the case to jail. Police station in-charge Ranjit Singh said – On June 3, Narayan Shekhar alias Karthik was assaulted in a land dispute, in which he also got hurt. Narayan Shekhar had filed a case in the police station against 20-25 unknown youths including four nominated. Vikas Singh was arrested from his house on secret information.
