The accused Sahil said that after 12th he started working with his mother to sell heroin. Son-in-law Mandeep said that he drives. He used to do heroin supply work in Kapurthala along with mother-in-law Jaswinder Kaur and brother-in-law Sahil. Nisha told that her husband has died. She was friends with Jaswinder Kaur, due to which she also started selling heroin. A case of drug smuggling is registered against Nisha in Kapurthala.

DCP Investigation Gurmeet Singh told that the heroin recovered from him is of commercial quantity. In that sense, the police are investigating about those who give them drugs and those who buy drugs from them. Police is also collecting information about his property, which he had bought with drug money.
