MUMBAI: German automaker Audi on Thursday launched the all-electric SUV e-tron 50 at Rs 99.99 lakh, e-tron 55 at Rs 1.16 crore and e-tron Sportback 55 at Rs 1.17 crore in India. (ex-showroom, India).
The all-new e-tron is the brand’s first electric car to hit the roads in India.

With e-tron, Audi aims to bring the electric car revolution by offering a completely novel driving experience with design and features.

Audi e-tron 55 and Audi e-tron Sportback 55 offer dual electric motors that deliver upto 300 kW of power with 664 Nm of torque. With a single charge range of 359 km- 484 km, both the models deliver acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a just 5.7 seconds.
On the other hand, electric motors of the e-tron 50 produces 230 kW of power with 540 Nm of torque and boasts an acceleration of 6.8 second in 0 to 100 kmph.
Both e-tron 55 and e-tron Sportback 55 feature 95kWh lithium-ion battery that enables a 359-484km range and get the 11kW Portable AC Home Charger which is capable of upto 150 kW DC Charging, while the e-tron 50 features a 71kWh lithium-ion battery with 264-379km range with upto 120 kW DC charging. The charging flaps are provided on both sides to enable flexibility in parking.
In terms of appearance and exterior body design, Audi e-tron and Audi e-tron Sportback appeals differently. While the Audi e-tron is a dapper, broad SUV with a straight roof, the Audi e-tron Sportback appeals as an athletic SUV with a robust, sloping roofline.

It gets brightened Audi Singleframe grille in platinum grey with orange brake callipers. It also gets the rear lights With Continuous LED Strips. It also features alloy wheels measuring 50.8 cm, 5 arm, finished in Graphite Gray.
Moving into the cabin, Audi offers interior themes in Okapi Brown, Black and Mother of Pear Beige. The wraparound dash panel encompassing the instrument panel, integrating the hood above the Audi Virtual Cockpit. It also features the shift paddles that allows to switch manually between recuperation stages.
It also gets the sound absorbing and insulating materials reducing sound penetration in the passenger compartment while advanced aeroacoustics further reduce background noise.
Audi e-tron is the first car ever in India to feature Digital Matrix LED Headlamps with Animated Projections. Other features include 16 speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D Surround Sound System, gesture-controlled boot lid, Audi Phone Box with Wireless Charging and the 360-degree camera with customisable views.
It also gets a 31.24 cm fully digital Audi Virtual Cockpit display, MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch Response, ambient lightings with 30 colour options.
All the variants of e-tron offer quattro Permanent All-Wheel Drive, Audi Drive Select, Progressive Steering, Adaptive Air Suspension, 4 Zone Climate Control and Panoramic Sunroof as standard.
In terms of safety, the e-tron embeds 8 airbags, illuminated seat belt buckles for quick access, Pre-sense Basic that initiates preventive protection measures in the event of emergency braking or handling on the limit, and the External speakers which are capable to generate a unique sound to alert pedestrians of the e-tron.
Audi offers Catalunya Red, Floret Silver, Mythos Black, Glacier White, Galaxy Blue, Navarra Blue, Siam Beige, Typhoon Grey variants for the Audi e-tron and an additional shade of Plasma Blue that is exclusive to the Audi e-tron Sportback.
Audi also offers etron hub as a special tab for digitised solutions to its customers. It also offers standard warranty of 2 years and High Voltage Battery warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 KM whichever is earlier. Customers will also get the option of Extended Warranty across a period of 2+2 years or 2+3 years.
Audi e-tron is all set to lock horns with rivals like Mercedes Benz EQC and jaguar i-PACE.
