  • Dharmendra used to make railway e-tickets by creating different IDs on mobile

Taking major action on Tuesday, RPF Crime Branch arrested a vicious agent with 64 railway e-tickets. The value of the recovered tickets is said to be Rs 1 lakh, 25 thousand. RPF Crime Branch has arrested Agent Dharmendra Kushwaha (27) on the basis of data received from Churchgate Headquarters.

The accused works as a laborer in a diamond factory and used to generate e-tickets by making different IDs on mobile. The accused Dharmendra has been caught and brought to Surat. During interrogation in the presence of two witnesses, the accused has admitted to black marketing of e-tickets by making suspicious IDs.

During the search of RPF, 64 railway e-tickets were also recovered from the accused. Its price is said to be 1 lakh, 25 thousand rupees. Out of this, 22 e-tickets are yet to travel, while 42 passengers have traveled. The accused also does not have an authorized agent’s license issued by IRCTC. The accused used to charge Rs 100 to 500 more from the passengers for a ticket.
