While cases of corona infection are being found continuously in Gurgaon so far, an 11-year-old child suffering from blood cancer has died of bird flu in AIIMS, Delhi. The family members of the child were living in Chakkarpur village of Gurgaon and are originally from Samastipur, Bihar. In such a situation, the teams of Health Department and Animal Husbandry Department have sent samples of nearby people for examination.

CMO Dr. Virendra Yadav says that the child had blood cancer, so the infection was found only in the child, who died on July 10. While no other person is showing symptoms of flu. CMO Dr. Virendra Yadav said that health check-up of people is being done in the surrounding area so that if anyone finds symptoms of bird flu, then treatment can be given immediately.

On Wednesday, the health of 34 people who were in contact with the family were screened. Health Department officials say that in the four-day investigation, no person has been found who has symptoms of bird flu. The Gurgaon Health Department, who died due to Bird Flu (Avian Influenza) H5N1 infection at AIIMS Delhi on 10th July, has been described as a patient of blood cancer.
