The car was shattered after falling into the ditch.
A car fell into a gorge near Majholi village in Kupvi, a sub-division of Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla district. Four people have died in the accident and one person has been seriously injured in the accident, who is undergoing treatment in Shimla.
The accident happened on Thursday night. After around one o’clock in the afternoon, the car numbered HP 08B-9007 from Haripurdhar left for village Bagh. Around 9 pm, the driver lost control of the car and then the car fell into a 300-metre deep gorge.
There were 5 people in the car, out of which 3 people died on the spot. Two injured were brought to CHC Haripurdhar, where a youth was referred to Shimla after first aid at CHC Haripurdhar. The other was declared brought dead by the doctors.
Those killed in the accident have been identified as Jeevan Singh (70), Roshan son Dhaniram (32), Rajendra son Nain Singh (31) of Manjholi village and Vidhya Devi wife Kedar Singh (39) of Bagh village. . Police have started investigation by registering a case.
