BJP councilor released after being in Neemka jail for seven days.

A new twist has come in the case of FMDA and Corporation’s XEN being held hostage by BJP councilor Jaiveer Khatana and his father Dharamvir Khatana on Sector 25 water booster and using caste words on Dalit society. Even after reaching an agreement with both the parties, the police have refused to cancel the SC/ST Act case registered against the councilor and his father. In such a situation, now the councilors will knock on the door of the High Court to get the case canceled. On the other hand, the councilor lodged in Neemka jail got bail from the district court. He was released after a week on Tuesday night. But their troubles are not over yet. Councilor’s lawyer MS Yadav says that he will soon go to the High Court to get the case canceled.

This is the whole matter of controversy

Angered by the problem of water in the NIT area, on July 11, people protested fiercely on the water booster located in Sector 25. BJP councilor Jaiveer Khatana was leading the protest. People gheraoed FMDA’s XEN Madanlal Sharma and corporation XEN JP Badhwa and kept them hostage for about three hours. After this, FMDA Chief Engineer ND Vashisht filed a case against the councilor and his supporters. At the same time, Balbir Balguher, the head of the Safai Karamcharis Union, had filed a case against the councilor and his father Dharamveer Khatana under the SC/ST Act.

Councilor released from jail after seven days

The BJP councilor, who was in jail on charges of assaulting the officers and SC / ST Act, was released after a week at around 8 pm on Tuesday. Councilor’s lawyer MS Yadav told that the court of ADJ Nazir Singh gave him bail in the SC / ST case. After this the bail bond was sent to the jail superintendent. He was released from jail at around eight o’clock in the night. He told that he was sent to Neemka Jail on July 14 for assault and SC / ST case. The other accused Kuldeep, Rajan Sood, Rajat Ahuja, Bhim Singh, Raman, Ravinder, Maninder and Akash, who are in jail in the assault case, have got bail on July 16 itself.

Police refused to submit discharge report

The advocate said that in the FIR registered against the councilor and his father under the SC / ST Act, the police have refused to submit the discharge report. Whereas Balbir Balguher, the head of the Safai Karamcharis Union, who lodged the FIR, compromised in the presence of other councilors and both the parties also gave affidavits. He told that the councilors had gone to the DCP to get the case quashed but the police refused to submit the discharge report. He told that now we will go to the High Court to get the case dismissed against it. Along with this, the accused father Dharamveer Khatana will also appeal for anticipatory bail.
