In the name of settlement of pending insurance claim, two accused cheated a person of Rs 24.50 lakh. The accused deposited this amount in their bank account from the victim on different pretexts. After the victim realized that she had been cheated, she gave a complaint to the police. Sector-53 police station has started investigation by registering a case on the basis of the complaint.
Sun City resident Pankit Gajjar told that his claim of Rs 22.80 lakh in the insurance company is pending for a long time. In order to settle this claim, he received a call from Asha Infotech Company officials Manish Sharma and Varun Saxena recently. He introduced himself as an officer from the claim settlement company of the insurance company. It is alleged that in the claim settlement, he first got one lakh rupees transferred to his bank account, saying that the agent code was a hindrance.
