Palval. Water filled the streets of the city after rain on Tuesday morning.

The rain that lashed the city on Tuesday morning led to a serious water logging situation. Water was visible all around the national highway, city streets, roads and colonies. DC Naresh Narwal himself visited the city and ordered the officials to drain the water after the rain that occurred eight days ago, but after eight days of rain, the same condition was seen again. There was no improvement even after DC’s ultimatum. Palwal recorded 70 mm and Hathin 5 mm of rain. While Hodal, Hasanpur, Bahin and Prithla remained dry.

The entire city was waterlogged after Tuesday’s rain. Water was flowing like drains on the roads in Camp Colony, considered a posh area. Several feet of water collected at the door of Municipal Commissioner Monika Gupta’s residence cum office. Two tractors of the city council were engaged to remove it.

Apart from this, several feet of water was flooded on the main gate and road of the mini secretariat and district court. To remove it, the employees of the city council gathered with the help of tractors. Municipal commissioner says that water gets filled after rain, but after some time it either leaves or it is removed with the help of pumps, so that people do not face any problem. Soon such arrangements will be made so that the situation of water logging does not arise in the city.
