  • Inaugurated And Laid Foundation Stones Of 14 Development Projects Worth 84 Crores In Banjar; Jal Shakti Subdivision Transferred From Shamshi To Bajaura

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 14 development projects worth 84 crores in Banjar assembly constituency of Kullu district. During this, he under PMGSY 7.85 crore Dehuri-Shanad road, 1.23 crore Grahaun to Dalwar road under NABARD, 11.61 crore Bhuin-Diar Shondadhar road under PMGSY, 3.45 crore under NABARD, improvement of Sangani to Kanda road and metalling and taring. Inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of the work.

On the other hand, Rs 6.67 crore five-storey cafeteria building in Larji and 7.84 crore additional building of Government ITI in Sainj was inaugurated. Jai Ram Thakur said that Rs 108 crore has been spent on construction and maintenance of roads and bridges in Banjar region. Under PMGSY, 26 projects are being implemented in the constituency by spending Rs.100 crore. Rs 16 crore is being spent on the construction of a 50 bedded hospital in Banjar.

Congress did nothing during the Corona period

He said that during the lockdown due to the pandemic, the state government has brought home more than 2.50 lakh people of the state stranded in different parts of the country. He said that five trains have been demanded to bring back thousands of people stranded in Goa.

Congress leaders did nothing in this crisis and also tried to politicize this sensitive issue. He reminded the Congress leaders that there were only 50 ventilators in the state at the time of the outbreak of the pandemic whereas today there were over 800 ventilators.

Efforts to make helipad will be intensified

The Chief Minister said that the work of making helipad in Banjar would be expedited. This will help in promoting tourism in the region.
