The traders appealed to the officers for crime control.

Traders on Wednesday staged a sit-in protest at Agrasen Chowk in protest against the rapidly increasing crime in Ballabhgarh and raised slogans against the police, demanding the safety of the traders. The police officers who arrived on the information talked to the traders and assured to arrest the criminals soon.

On Wednesday morning, the officials of Merchant Ekta Seva Manch reached Agrasen Chowk and started the protest demonstration. The traders demanded from the police administration that incidents of looting and deadly attacks are happening continuously in Ballabhgarh city. Due to these incidents, there is an atmosphere of insecurity among the traders of the market. They are afraid to do business. DCP Crime Jaiveer Singh Rathi and ACP Sarai Khwaja Maujiram reached the spot on the information of the traders’ dharna. Both the officers talked to the traders and assured to take action against the culprits soon.

Rahul Goyal, head of the Merchant Ekta Seva Manch, put a 5-point demand for security in front of the police officers. DCP Jaiveer Singh Rathi urged the traders to install CCTV cameras at their shops so that it is easy to nab the criminals. Traders Rajiv Goyal, Devendra Goyal, Sonu Bansal, Shyam Sundar Mittal, Anshul Bansal, Pradeep Gupta, Gopal Singla, Manoj Garg, Vishal Garg etc. were present in the dharna.
