The important OPG (Orthopantomogram) machine for X-ray including teeth, jaw in the Civil Hospital was damaged. Patients had to go to smearers or private hospitals for X-rays for mycor mycosis and dental diseases. The government has allotted new OPG machine in civil. The machine was launched by Majura MLA Harsh Sanghvi on Tuesday. Patients will get relief from the new machine.
Poor patients used to get X-rays done by spending 800 to 1000 rupees due to the failure of OPG X-ray machine. Now the new OPG X-ray machine worth 18 lakhs has arrived. Harsh Sanghvi has announced to give two machines from his grant.
