There was a big drop in the number of corona patients in the country on Monday. 30,818 new infected were identified, 48,916 were cured and 2,024 died. There was a sudden jump in the number of people who lost their lives. However, this has happened due to the addition of 1,478 old cases in Madhya Pradesh.

With this, the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment in the country has come down by 20,126. This is the highest in the last 14 days. Earlier on June 28, 20,872 active cases were reduced.

Restrictions like lockdown in 8 states
There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 8 states of the country. These include West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.

Partial lockdown in 23 states/UTs
There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat is included.

1. Maharashtra
On Monday, 7,603 people were found infected here. 15,277 people were cured and 146 people died. So far 61.65 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 59.27 lakh people have been cured, while 1.26 lakh people have died. Presently 1.08 lakh patients are being treated.

2. Chhattisgarh
On Monday, 297 people were found corona positive in the state. 564 people were cured. So far 9.98 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 9.80 lakh people have been cured, while 13,478 people have died. There are 4,517 patients who are undergoing treatment.

3. Uttar Pradesh
96 people were found infected here on Monday. 112 people were cured and 2 people died. So far, more than 17.07 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.83 lakh have been cured, while 22,700 patients have died. 1,576 patients are being treated here.

4. Delhi
On Monday, 45 people were found corona positive in Delhi. 92 people were cured and 3 died. So far 14.35 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, more than 14.09 lakh people have been cured, while 25,018 patients have died. 693 patients are being treated here.

5. Rajasthan
Here on Monday 33 people were found corona infected and 74 people were cured. So far 9.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.43 lakh people have been cured, while 8,945 patients have died. At present, 661 patients are undergoing treatment.

6. Gujarat
On Monday, 32 people were found corona positive in the state. During this, 161 people also recovered and 1 infected died. So far, about 8.24 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.13 lakh people have been cured, while 10,074 patients have died. Here 801 infected people are being treated.

7. Madhya Pradesh
On Monday, 18 new cases were reported here and 1,481 infected people died. So far 7.90 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.80 lakh people have been cured, while 10,506 people died. 1,048 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
