Corona in the country: 39061 new cases came on the last day, 5372 decline in active cases; Maximum 43928 people recovered after 18 days

There has been relief in the cases of corona in the country for the second consecutive day. On Saturday, 39,061 cases of infection were registered. During this, 43,928 people defeated the disease, while 491 people died. With this, there has been a decline of 5,372 in the active cases of Corona. On Friday also, there was a decrease of 1948 in active cases.

According to the Institute of Mathematical Science, Chennai, the rate of R value in the country has increased from 0.93 to 1.01 percent within a month. That is, now a corona patient is spreading the infection to more than one person. The highest R value is in Madhya Pradesh (1.31) and Himachal Pradesh (1.3). Apart from this, the rate of R value in Maharashtra and Delhi is 1.01 percent. The R value in Kerala is 1.06%. More than 20 thousand cases are being reported here daily.

Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine got emergency approval in the country
Amidst the increasing cases of Delta variant of Corona, a good news has come to the fore. The government has approved the emergency use of Johnson’s single-dose vaccine of American company Johnson & Johnson. Now the hope of getting it soon in the Indian market has increased. The company had applied for emergency approval on Friday itself and the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) gave its approval on that day itself. Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave this information on social media on Saturday.

Partial lockdown in 23 states/UTs
There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat is included.

1. Kerala
On Saturday, 20,367 people were found infected here. 20,265 people were cured and 139 people died. So far 35.33 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 33.37 lakh people have been cured, while 17,654 people have died. Presently 1.78 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

2. Maharashtra
On Saturday, 6,061 people were found infected here. 9,356 people were cured and 128 people died. So far 63.47 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 61.39 lakh people have been cured, while 1.33 lakh people have died. Presently 71,050 patients are undergoing treatment.

3. Delhi
72 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Saturday. During this 22 people were cured and 1 patient died. So far 14.36 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 14.11 lakh people have been cured, while 25,066 patients have died. 565 patients are being treated here.

4. Uttar Pradesh
On Saturday, 27 people were found infected here. During this 58 people were cured and 2 also died. So far, more than 17.08 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.85 lakh have been cured, while 22,773 patients have died. 586 patients are being treated here.

5. Gujarat
On Saturday, 19 people were found corona positive in the state and 27 patients were cured. So far, about 8.25 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.14 lakh people have been cured, while 10,077 patients have died. Treatment of 196 infected is going on here.

6. Madhya Pradesh
13 new cases were reported here on Saturday and 15 patients were cured. So far 7.91 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.81 lakh people have been cured, while 10,514 people died. 156 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

7. Rajasthan
Here on Saturday 19 people were found corona infected. During this 15 patients were cured. So far 9.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.44 lakh people have been cured, while 8,954 patients have died. Presently 237 patients are undergoing treatment.
