In the last 24 hours, 41,277 new patients were found in the country, 42,041 were cured and 517 died. In this way, the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment has increased by 2,837. Kerala is raising the biggest concern. There is a spurt in active cases for the last 5 days. On Saturday, 16,148 patients reported positive here. 13,197 were cured and 114 lost their lives. In this way an increase of 2,837 was registered in active cases.

It is also a matter of concern that new cases of corona infection in the country are almost stable for the last 25 days. That is, the number of cases that are coming, some more or less patients are getting cured. There were 54,309 cases on 23 June. More than 69 thousand patients were also cured on this day. After this, the number of patients getting daily remains between 37 to 45 thousand. Almost the same number of patients are also recovering.

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 8 states of the country. These include West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.

Partial lockdown in 23 states/UTs
There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat is included.

1. Kerala
On Saturday, 16,148 people were found infected here. 13,197 people were cured and 114 people died. So far 31.46 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 30.06 lakh people have been cured, while 15,269 people have died. Presently 1.24 lakh patients are being treated.

2. Maharashtra
On Saturday, 8,172 people were found infected here. 8,950 people were cured and 124 people died. So far 62.05 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 59.74 lakh people have been cured, while 1.26 lakh people have died. Presently 1 lakh patients are being treated.

3. Chhattisgarh
On Saturday, 226 people were found corona positive in the state. 354 people were cured and 2 died. So far 9.99 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 9.82 lakh people have been cured, while 13,494 people have died. There are 3,837 patients who are undergoing treatment.

4. Uttar Pradesh
81 people were found infected here on Saturday. 106 people were cured and 4 died. So far, more than 17.07 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.83 lakh have been cured, while 22,715 patients have died. 1,310 patients are being treated here.

5. Delhi
59 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Saturday. 91 people were cured and 4 died. So far 14.35 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, more than 14.09 lakh people have been cured, while 25,027 patients have died. 621 patients are being treated here.

6. Rajasthan
Here on Saturday 42 people were found corona infected and 47 people were cured and 2 died. So far, 9.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.43 lakh people have been cured, while 8,949 patients have died. Presently 496 patients are undergoing treatment.

7. Gujarat
37 people were found corona positive in the state on Saturday. During this 110 people were also cured and 1 died. So far, about 8.24 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.13 lakh people have been cured, while 10,075 patients have died. Treatment of 532 infected is going on here.

8. Madhya Pradesh
11 new cases were reported here on Saturday and 23 were cured and 2 died. So far 7.91 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.80 lakh people have been cured, while 10,512 people died. 221 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
