Corona period: one infected died in Jamshedpur for the second consecutive day, 17 new cases; District’s recovery rate 97.86%

A corona infected died in East Singhbhum district for the second consecutive day on Tuesday. The deceased is a 61-year-old woman resident of Ghorabandha. He was being treated at Tata Motors Hospital. In this way, in the first 6 days of July, three infected people have died. With this the death toll in the district has reached 1053. On Tuesday, 17 corona positives were found in the investigation of 3303 samples. The total number of infected in the district has gone up to 51617. On the other hand 12 patients recovered. So far, a total of 50496 patients have become healthy. However, the recovery rate of the district has improved by 0.01 percent. The recovery rate on Tuesday stood at 97.86 percent.

17115 sample investigation pending, sent 6584 sample rims to eliminate backlog

A total of 6039 people were sampled on Tuesday. In this 3744 samples of RT-PCR and 380 samples of Truenat were sent to MGM Medical College for examination. Their report is expected by Thursday. A total of 1118493 samples have been taken in the district so far. Of these 1101378 reports have been received and 17115 samples are pending. In view of this, the District Surveillance Department has sent 6584 samples to RIMS (Ranchi) for examination. It has been directed to submit their report at the earliest.
