Crime Branch has arrested a sharp shooter of the infamous gangster Kishan Pehalwan gang. He is a Kabaddi player, identified as Sunil Dahiya. Accused Hemant was wanted in the case of firing on gang crooks. Semi-automatic pistol and two cartridges have been found near it. Joint CP Crime Branch Alok Kumar said that on July 22, input was received from the informer that Sunil Dahiya was about to come near Kairi village, Najafgarh.

After which he was caught by trapping. Sunil Dahiya, a resident of Najafgarh, is a player of Kabaddi. He is also a coach and has a sports club named Bharat Mata Sports Club in Jafarpur. It was his uncle who had introduced Sunil to Kishan Pehelwan. After which he joined Kishan.

There is a gang war going on between Kishan Pehelwan and Hemant for years. Both are residents of Najafgarh. More than 100 cases of murder and attempt to murder are registered against the miscreants of both the gangs. Hemant is currently in Tihar Jail. On January 11, Sunil had come to a friend’s house with his uncle Jai Bhagwan. There Sunil had come to talk to Amit Shokeen regarding some property. Amit is close to the Hemant gang.

Due to some dispute between the two, Amit had fled from there in a friend’s car. With Amit gone, Sunil is determined to teach him a lesson. He along with some of his companions reached Amit’s house at Dhichou Kala. An accomplice of Sunil shot Amit’s cousin Ankush. On the complaint of Amit Shokeen, Baba Haridas Nagar police registered a case of attempt to murder and arrested Jai Bhagwan and Rajesh while Sunil was absconding.
