Crime Branch Police has arrested a vehicle thief who used to steal bikes only for hobby. Actually, the accused was very fond of traveling by bike, so he used to steal the bike. Till now he had stolen three bikes. According to the information, the Crime Branch police had received secret information that Sahil alias Ghungroo Nooruddin Malbari, a resident of Noor Elahi Tenement located in New Rander, used to steal the bike. On this basis the police arrested him. Three stolen bikes were recovered from him.

Out of this, he had stolen two bikes from Mahidharpura and one from Salabatpura area. Police have registered a case against the accused and started further action. On being questioned by the police, the accused told that two years ago he was learning about two wheeler in a garage. During this time he became fond of traveling by bike.

After this, he himself used to keep the old keys of the people who used to come to the garage to change the old locks of the bike. Then with the help of those keys, he used to open the locks of bikes parked in the streets around Golwad and Golwad Bangladeshi apartments and Gopi Talab parking lot during the night. After that he used to roam around on these bikes. He told that he used to hide the stolen bike under Jilani Bridge at Rander.

Stole a car to roam, police caught it before fleeing to Rajasthan

About a week ago, a car worth Rs 5.50 lakh was stolen from the Umra police station area. The matter has been resolved by Umra police and the accused has been arrested. The accused was fond of traveling by car. He was about to flee to Rajasthan after stealing the car. Before that the police caught him.

According to the information received from the police, in the case of car theft, Umra police has arrested the accused Pintu Nandlal Khatik from Vesu Canal Road. The stolen car was recovered from him. Police said that the accused is originally a resident of Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. He used to do driving work in the Citylight area. On July 17, he took away the key kept on the security guard’s table from the A-wings of the picturesque apartment located in Citylight, escaping the guard’s gaze. Stole the car with that key and fled. The accused had a hankering to travel by car.
